Dr. Helal is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a particular interest in hand, elbow and shoulder surgery, as well as peripheral nerve surgery, nerve compression, acute nerve injuries of the upper and lower extremities, brachial plexus injury and chronic nerve injury reconstruction. Dr. Helal is passionate about hand and upper extremity surgery because he can team up with patients to help them regain function, independence and quality of life, helping them get back to doing the things they enjoy the most.
He spends his free time in the outdoors, hiking with his family, bow hunting, working on his car or playing pickup basketball, and being a new father to his daughter.
