Matthew Paul, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He has advanced training in the management of complex shoulder and knee pathology, including rotator cuff disease, shoulder impingement, biceps tendonitis, meniscus injuries, ACL tears and multi-ligament knee disruptions.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Paul graduated with honors from Texas A&M University and subsequently completed his medical school training at the University of Texas at Houston as part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and his sports medicine fellowship at the Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute.
Outside of work, Dr. Paul enjoys spending time with family, golf, and outdoor activities.
