Dr. Mehta was raised in the Chicago area and went to the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign for his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduating from the American University of the Caribbean, he returned to the Midwest to complete his medical training in Indianapolis and Chicago. He moved to TX in 2020 to start working at Baylor Scott and White. He has a thriving practice in Harker Heights and Temple and is eager to serve the community of patients with heart disease. He also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and works with trainees at all levels. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities and sports.
Dr. Mehta's areas of expertise include general cardiology, preventive cardiology, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure.
