Sarah Stringfield, MD, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon in Dallas, Texas, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diverticulitis and other complex colorectal conditions. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery. She provides comprehensive care for patients with diseases of the colon, rectum and anus, using the latest evidence-based treatment approaches. Dr. Stringfield has particular expertise in the surgical management of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, colorectal cancer and diverticulitis. She also treats a wide range of benign colon and rectal conditions, including hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulas and fecal incontinence. Her clinical interests include robotic colorectal surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and advanced endoscopic techniques that can help improve patient outcomes and recovery. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine in Dallas, Dr. Stringfield is actively involved in academic medicine and research.
