Dr. Mathew is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Mathew completed fellowships in sports medicine, where he received comprehensive training for medical and surgical care of sports-related injuries and conditions. He has taken care of athletes at every level, from high school, collegiate, professional and Olympic. Dr. Mathew has a special interest in sports injuries and arthroscopic repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee, elbow and ankle in adults and pediatric patients. He also serves as director of sports medicine for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie. Dr. Mathew is committed to shared decision making with his patients. He wants each patient to be well-informed about both non-operative and operative measures. Dr. Mathew is married and loves playing sports, playing music, and traveling with his wife and sons.
