Dr. Zachary Roberts is a board-certified surgeon specializing in colon and rectal surgery.
He has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's colon and rectal cancer), benign anorectal disease (fistulas, hemorrhoid and fissures) and benign colon and rectal pathology, particularly diverticulitis. His academic interests include Crohn's disease and its surgical treatment. Dr. Roberts has a strong interest in minimally invasive surgery such as robotics, laparoscopy, hand-assisted laparoscopy and trans-anal minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Roberts is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
He grew up in Kansas and is an avid University of Kansas Jayhawks fan and Kansas City Chiefs fan. His hobbies include hunting, trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time with his wife, child and two dogs.
