Fellows gain hands-on, supervised experience in the scoring and interpretation of sleep studies, building confidence and autonomy as the year progresses. From day one, training is designed to develop both technical expertise and clinical decision-making.
Throughout the fellowship, fellows work with a broad range of diagnostic tools and technologies, including:
- Adult and pediatric polysomnography
- Home sleep apnea testing
- PAP titration studies
- Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MSLT) and Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing (MWT)
- PAP download interpretation and adherence management
- Actigraphy and sleep diary analysis
This comprehensive, real-world experience equips fellows to confidently interpret studies, troubleshoot complex cases, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
